A relaxing hideaway
Le Passe-Temps is nestled in Ao Phang Nga, regarded as one of the most beautiful bays in South East Asia. The garden and the beach directly open onto an astonishing landscape of water, islands and rocky peaks. Our “little Halong Bay” as we like to call it, is world famous for Phi Phi island and Maya bay. But it has much more to offer. Stay with us and discover what others do not see. With a normal capacity of 19 people, Le Passe-Temps was designed as a friendly place, dedicated to nature and relaxation.
Our 9 bungalows form a little peaceful village around the swimming pool, just a few steps away from the beach. They are all air conditioned and have their own bathroom with hot water.
Nothing is more important for us than to make you appreciate every moment of your holidays. From the chauffeur waiting for you at the airport to the housekeepers taking care of you, from the restaurant team to the spa therapists, from the barman to the gardener and the boat pilots, everyone is here to enhance your experience of real Thai hospitality.

Our priority is your total peace of mind, not just the comfort of your room
First of all, we will answer all your questions regarding your journey so you don’t have to worry –this includes: money, schedules, transportation, as well as transfer to your next destination and so forth.
If you are traveling with young children, all our staff, from gardeners to housekeepers, will keep an eye on them constantly.
Tell us about your tastes or a possible allergy upon your arrival so that we can inform the kitchen of your food preferences.
If you need an extra pillow, more towels or anything else just ask.
If your friends have told you about a site not to be missed, or if you have read somewhere about this or that island and overcharged payments, don’t hesitate to come and talk to us! We have been living in Thailand for over 20 years and, unpretentiously, we should be able to give you some advice.
If you want to celebrate a romantic anniversary, organize a treasure hunt, or make a surprise, come and see us at the lobby, we are here to assist you.
And finally no need to worry about the language barrier: Beer, our manager, is fluent in French, English and Thai.
Tha Lane
Off the beaten path at Tha Lane Beach
Tha Lane Bay is located north of Ao Nang and Klong Muang Beach, halfway between Krabi and Ao Leuk. It is a small traditional fishing village, almost ignored by tourists who only see it as the starting point for kayaking. Spared by souvenir shops and touristic restaurants, the village and its surroundings have retained their original authenticity. Hidden in this rustic environment, Le Passe-Temps is a haven of peace and modern comfort, the ideal location to explore the natural wonders of this unspoiled region.
Le Passe-Temps beach commands a fantastic view of Phang Nga Bay, where you can fine-tune your tan in complete tranquility. On the other hand, swimming is only possible two or three hours a day depending on the tides. However, a 20 minute trip by boat is all it takes to reach the white sand beaches and the coral reefs of the Koh Hong archipelago.
